1. Introduction
BSAFE 2.0 ("BSAFE", "the Application", "we", "our", or "us") is a safety management application developed and operated by Techway.
BSAFE 2.0 is designed to support safety reporting, safety observations, safety audits, task management, task migration, and related safety-management activities.
We respect the privacy of our users and are committed to protecting information handled through BSAFE 2.0. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Application may collect, how it is used, how it is protected, and how it is shared.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on the features used by an authorized user, BSAFE 2.0 may collect or process the following categories of information:

- Other information required to manage access to BSAFE

- Hazards and incidents

2.3 Photographs and Attachments
BSAFE 2.0 may allow users to upload photographs and other attachments as part of safety observations, audits, reports, or tasks. These materials are used for the relevant safety-management functionality.
2.4 Location Information
Where a relevant BSAFE feature requires it, the Application may access device location information. Location may be used to associate a safety observation, audit, incident, or other safety activity with the location where the activity occurred.
BSAFE does not use location information for advertising or marketing.
2.5 Device and Technical Information
When communicating with the BSAFE backend, the Application may process technical information such as device information, operating system information, application version, device or application identifiers where applicable, network/IP-related technical information, and information necessary for authentication, security, troubleshooting, and application operation.
3. How We Use Information
Information handled through BSAFE 2.0 may be used to:
- Authenticate authorized users and manage access.
- Record and manage safety observations, hazards, and incidents.
- Conduct and manage safety audits and checklists.
- Create, assign, track, migrate, and complete safety tasks.
- Support task migration and task lifecycle management.
- Associate safety activities with relevant locations where applicable.
- Store and retrieve photographs and attachments submitted by users.
- Maintain application security and reliability.
- Diagnose technical problems and support application operation.
- Meet applicable legal, contractual, regulatory, and organizational requirements.
4. Server and API Communication
BSAFE 2.0 communicates with authorized backend servers through application APIs. Information submitted through the Application may be transmitted to the BSAFE backend so that the Application can provide its intended functionality.
This may include account information, safety records, photographs, attachments, task information, location information, and technical information.
Data transmitted between the Application and the backend should be protected using appropriate security measures, including encrypted communication such as HTTPS/TLS.
5. Data Sharing
Information submitted through BSAFE is used to provide the service and is accessible to authorized users according to the Application's access-control model.
We do not use personal information collected through BSAFE to serve third-party advertisements.
We may disclose information when required by applicable law, regulation, court order, or valid legal process.
6. Third-Party Services and SDKs
BSAFE 2.0 does not use third-party advertising, analytics, tracking, or other third-party SDKs for collecting or sharing user information.
Information collected through BSAFE 2.0 is transmitted to and processed by the BSAFE backend infrastructure for providing the Application's intended functionality.
Techway does not sell, rent, or provide user information to third parties for their independent advertising, marketing, analytics, or commercial purposes.
7. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by BSAFE against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures may include authentication, authorization and role-based access controls, secure API communication, HTTPS/TLS encryption for data transmitted over networks, server-side security controls, and appropriate access restrictions.
However, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Data Retention
BSAFE information may be retained for as long as necessary to provide the Application's functionality, maintain safety and audit records, maintain task and operational history, meet organizational requirements, resolve disputes or technical issues, or comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and applicable organizational requirements.
9. User Rights and Requests
Users may contact their organization's designated BSAFE administrator or Techway regarding questions about their information, access to information, correction of information, or deletion requests.
Requests will be handled subject to applicable organizational policies, contractual requirements, technical limitations, and applicable law.
10. Children's Privacy
BSAFE 2.0 is designed for professional and organizational use and is not directed toward children. We do not knowingly design or operate BSAFE for the collection of children's personal information.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when BSAFE functionality, data practices, security practices, or applicable legal requirements change. The latest version will be made available through the designated BSAFE privacy-policy webpage.
